Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) stretches over 400 kilometres on the western coast of Norway, and encompasses five campuses located in Sogndal, Førde, Haugesund, Stord and Bergen. HVL has approximately 1900 staff spread throughout these different locations. The four faculties host strong and innovative professional environments within health- and social sciences, engineering, teacher education, maritime sciences, nature sciences, culture and sports, social sciences, economics and management. The TourEdu team at HVL includes Ove Oklevik, Grzegorz Kwiatkowski, Helene Maristuen and John Olav Brekke, representing the HVL Business School and BSc programme in Tourism Management (which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025).
